Fatigue Management – New Approaches and Focus Areas

This code mandates that employers proactively identify and control fatigue hazards and highlights creating work to minimise fatigue risks. Employers should review their current fatigue management policies against this new module code to ensure compliance.

To support the model Code, Safe Work Australia has also published additional resources, including:

TrinityLearning offers the online course Fatigue Management which was developed to provide learners with an understanding of what fatigue is, the effect that fatigue has on employees in the workplace and how to manage fatigue in the workplace.
